Three new trustees for the New Economics Foundation

NEF is delighted to announce the appointment of three new trustees to our board


We are delighted to announce the appointment of three new members to our Board of Trustees.

Ciaran Driver is Professor of Economics in the School of Finance and Management at SOAS University of London. His research interests are capital investment, industrial economics, innovation, corporate governance and economic policy.

Mary Riddell has worked as a political columnist and interviewer for the Daily Telegraph and the Observer. She is a former assistant editor of the Daily Mirror and the Telegraph and the former deputy editor of Today newspaper. She is a member of the Communications Advisory Group for Freedom From Torture.

Rebecca Willis is an independent researcher in environment and sustainability policy and practice. With Lancaster University, she is conducting research into political responses to climate change. She advises the Lake District National Park, and in 2009 founded Green Alliance’s Climate Leadership Programme. Rebecca is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of RCUK’s Energy Programme and a Fellow of the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity. She was formerly a Council Member of the Natural Environment Research Council, and was Vice-Chair of the UK Sustainable Development Commission.
