All over the country, taxi drivers are coming together to develop co-operatives. This trend comes in the wake of serious concerns about the business model of taxi platforms like Uber and the quality of working conditions for their drivers.

Taxi co-ops offer an alternative where the drivers themselves own, control and benefit from what the business does. How can we develop taxi co-ops capable of competing with Uber? What are the obstacles to success and how do we overcome them?

Join the New Economics Foundation and Co-operatives UK for a morning of discussion and collaborative work focused on the next steps for developing taxi co-ops.
