As concerns about the climate emergency grow, the public are becoming more conscious of their choices as consumers.
Some businesses are adapting to this market-driven change, with plastic straws being replaced and vegan options introduced. Positive though these steps are, they will not by themselves deliver change at the scale and speed required.
Can businesses really take the transformative steps needed to halt environmental breakdown? Are capital markets a block or can they be reformed to help finance the change? What must governments do through incentives or regulation?
