Adam Sharples

Adam is a former civil service Director General and has been involved in policy making throughout his working life. Adam began his career as an economist before becoming head of research for the National Union of Public Employees. He also worked within government as a senior civil servant in the Treasury and DWP for nearly 25 years. Adam has held several chair and non-executive positions, including Chair of the Money Advice Trust from 2016 to 2023, and Vice Chair of the Barts Health NHS Trust since 2022.
