Ian Christie

Ian Christie teaches and researches sustainable development and environmental policy at the Centre for Environment & Sustainability, University of Surrey. His previous roles include policymaking in local and central government; strategic consulting and consumer research at the Henley Centre for Forecasting; and social research for several think-tanks including the Policy Studies Institute and Demos. He has worked as an advisor to organisations in business, public sector and civil society on sustainability issues, and is a former associate of NEF. Ian’s also a fellow of WWF and associate of Green Alliance.
