Jaya Sood

Jaya joined NEF’s Economy team in January 2025. Her work focuses on delivering and funding the transition. She is an economist with 6 years of experience in the Government Economics Service working on fiscal events and the budget scorecard in HM Treasury and Net Zero and Carbon Budgets strategy at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. She was chair of the internal government network Exploring Economics, which promotes pluralist thinking in government.
