Katy works with NEF on economic policy in international and multilateral spaces, and particularly how to create space for alternative economics within fora such as the G20 or International Financial Institutions. She is an independent advocacy consultant focusing on economic inequality and taxation.

Katy was previously the head of policy and advocacy at Oxfam GB, and over many years at Oxfam was instrumental in their work on inequality. She was the global lead for Oxfam International’s work with the World Economic Forum when Oxfam developed its annual state of global inequality’ reports. She worked on numerous campaigns for tax justice such as the Robin Hood tax for a financial transaction tax and for UK tax havens to adopt better transparency standards.

She has also worked at Amnesty International UK, the Electoral Reform Society and DeHavilland Information Services Plc.
