Paula Castro Rodriguez

Paula joined NEF in January 2026 as a researcher on the economy and environment team. Her research interests include environmental and sectoral policy for a fair, community-owned transition. Previously, Paula worked as a policy adviser on climate justice at ActionAid International and at the climate think tank InfluenceMap, where she focused on accountability of the financial sector. Paula received a bachelor’s in Economics from the Carlos III University and a master’s in Global Development from the University of Copenhagen.
