Rebecca Willis


Rebecca Willis is an independent researcher in environment and sustainability policy and practice. With Lancaster University, she is conducting research into political responses to climate change. She advises the Lake District National Park, and in 2009 founded Green Alliance’s Climate Leadership Programme.

Rebecca is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of RCUK’s Energy Programme and a Fellow of the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP). From 2011 – 15 she was a Council Member of the Natural Environment Research Council, and from 2004-11 was Vice-Chair of the UK Sustainable Development Commission.
