Richard Bryars

Richard Bryars is Director of Strategy and Implementation at Action for Children, a leading non-profit provider of Children’s Social Care services. His previous experience includes leading strategy and financial planning teams at some of the UK’s largest mutuals including the Co-operative Group and John Lewis Partnership with a strong interest in exploring how socially-focused organisations manage the tensions between profit and purpose. Richard sits on the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and has previously served as Chair of Trustees of the international development charity Childreach.
