Alice Martin, NEF’s Subject Lead for Housing and Work, appeared on Sky News today to discuss the squeeze on living standards faced by households across the UK.
Inflation means that the cost of everyday essentials is increasing, whilst wages are stagnating, meaning more people are having to rely on high cost credit such as payday loans just to put food on the table.
