Dan Firth

Dan is the Director of Campaigns and Engagement at the New Economics Foundation. He leads NEF’s organising, communications and fundraising teams, bringing together NEFs bold ideas, creative communications and community organising to build powerful campaigns around some of the biggest challenges of our time, from climate chaos to the cost-of-living crisis. 

Dan has a background in community organising and is a coach in Public Narrative. In 2018, Dan set up the Labour Party’s Community Organising Unit, connecting the Labour Party to communities from London to Newcastle. Prior to that Dan set up We Can Win, led on youth engagement for a local authority, and was a lead organiser for Citizens UK.
