“Truss claimed that this was a Budget for growth. It is nothing of the sort. This was inequality economics: a budget for the rich that will make the rest of us poorer. Her decisions today were not difficult; they were grossly irresponsible. And they are decisions that we, the British people, will end up paying for in the years to come.”
