The UK government has responded by legislated to achieve an ambitious net-zero emissions goal by 2050, ending the country’s contribution to global warming within 30 years. But is one of the world’s most ambitious climate targets achievable in just 3 decades? What is the best way to cut carbon emissions? And what role can the energy industry play?
