Griffin Carpenter is economic modeller specialising in environmental policy and natural resource management. His current work focuses on the socio-economics of European fishing fleets. Other work areas include energy, climate change, agriculture, food systems, and health. Griffin has made media appearances on Al Jazeera, the BBC, Nieuwuur and is frequently interviewed for print publications. He has published in the peer-reviewed journals Marine Policy, Fish and Fisheries, and Nature.
